OUR STORY
MEET ALEXANDRA
I knew as a teenager that I wanted to become a teacher. I took dance classes beginning in elementary school and spent many years while in high school as a dance assistant. In college, I had extensive “in classroom” teaching experiences (preschool through grade 5) with several seasoned educators. After graduating from college, I became an after school teacher in/around the greater Boston area for a few years. I transitioned into an assistant position in the Andover Public Schools and finally became an elementary teacher. I spent a total of 12 years working in the Andover Public School system.
My qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood.
Masters degree as a Reading Specialist.
Licensed elementary teacher in the state of Massachusetts.
Experience teaching 1st and 3rd grade.
MEET AMY
I didn’t know that I wanted to become an elementary teacher until I became a mother. I ended up going back to school for a Masters in Education when my son was a baby. I have worked in various educational roles, including both regular and special education settings.
My qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Spanish.
